C.M. Thompson was assistant pastor to T.T. (Thomas Treadwell) Eaton at Walnut Street Baptist Church. He held pastorates at Portland Ave. Baptist Church and Baptist Tabernacle, Louisville, Ky. He served for 2 years as editor of the Western Recorder and was president of the Baptist Book Concern, 1907-1909.
